AboutMe

     ⬇

Education: I obtained my Masters of Counseling degree at the University of North Dakota (Go Hawks!) in 2003. Prior to that I received my BA in Psychology in 2000.

Experience: I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC) and have spent 20+ years in the public sector as a community mental health professional and director full time and have spent the last 12 years in private practice part time. People are my passion and it is a privilege to support humans on their unique recovery journeys.

Who I am: I was born and raised in Grand Forks. I'm married with 3 kids. I love traveling, nature, water, hiking, photography, gardening, plants and concerts/live music. I also love a good documentary or audiobook, crocheting, baking bread and learning!

My values: In therapy, the therapist's values should mostly never come into play. That being said, it's important for me to share that inclusivity is important to me. All patients should come into my space and feel free of judgement or discrimination. I welcome all ages, identities, ethnicities, bodies and belief systems.
